25% of death row inmates have either been exonerated or acquitted in Florida. A terrible record for the ultimate punishment which cannot be taken back.
The ethnic disparity of death row inmates is also very disturbing.
I don’t trust government to use this power responsibly.

Lazarow is showing she has what it takes to be a real force in Hallandale.

Hopefully two other Commissioners see the light and start asking the tough questions of CM Miller and refuse to be spoon feed the BS their eating now.

Wake up Sanders and Julian, Lazarow is on the right track.

Stop being Cooper’s patsy boys for once in your lives.

CM Farmer/Crichton/Miller is not up to the job. And now she’s bringing in a crony from Miami Gardens to take the heat off of her and to oversee the CRA. Why not go out to bid for a real CRA Director and see what you can get?

Missed in all the CRA scrutiny is what residents have received from the $30-plus million spent.

Sadly, the city has nothing to show for the millions spent. Every resident in Hallandale has been ripped off by the City Commission, and in particular the Mayor, for failing to invest CRA money into the City to improve quality of life, invest in infrastructure and increase property values.

It’s interesting that Lukic acknowledges a problem with the CRA in Hallandale Beach but not in Lauderdale Lakes. In Lakes it’s a double whammy…in addition to owing BSO (Broward County) $8 million for past services, they misappropriated $2.5 million from their CRA Fund! But, strangely, that hasn’t yet peaked the interest of Sherlock Lukic!
