Yes, of course, Andrew, that's the ticket, blame the media for reporting. Always defend the indefensible. Tell the folks to pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

Commissioner London has been on target with everything he's uncovered. You see, one has a duty to point out the negatives in order to present the rationale for positive changes. But that doesn't sit well, for obvious reasons, with the powers that be in HB.

Which is eerily similar to what was going on in Hollywood before we elected a new Mayor. Which is what should happen in Hallandale Beach at the very next opportunity.

Along with a couple of new commissioners.

For a badly-needed new day in HB.

Andrew.

You are more negative than my Jewish ex Mother In Law.

Additionally, how do you know what the IG's going to report? Did you stay at a Holiday Inn Express recently?

One last thing...

There's all sorts of new stuff - rules, commission, ethics... But the same old tired Mayor.

Something that's sure to change come November.

Ortiz got a LIFE SENTENCE for burglary, assault & carjacking ??? Without committing murder? Yet your murderers spend an average of 10-15 years in prison? Capitalists really do care more about their "stuff" than their lives !

Where is the scandal? The former city manager from several years ago and a commission from several years ago made decisions to promote the business and job environment in Hallandale, but apparently William Gjebre thinks that raises "more questions."

The Broward IG is investigating probably because commissioner Keith London made a complaint in order to try to make the commission look bad for what he hopes will be to his own electoral advantage in November. Negative campaigning is all he's got, and that has been his permanent occupation as a city official. Every single move Keith London makes is about any kind of political attack against others.

The discrepancies in record keeping and the decisions made in the past have all resulted in new personnel, a new manager, a new commissioner and a new code of ethics and enhanced protocols. Mr. Gjebre never reports on any of that, however. He only "reports" on old errors and past city personnel from years ago in an effort to create a whiff of scandal.

Any city commission is made up of residents who are elected to represent the rest of us, and they do the best they can. Mistakes are made and prior decisions are changed and reformed. There's nothing unusual in any of that. Mr. Gjebre never "reports" on any reforms or efforts at progress, however. He only "reports" on the past, never the present. Every piece on BrowardBulldog in regards to insinuations and allegations phoned in by Commissioner London focuses on matters that had occurred years ago. What are CRA loan policies now? What corrections have already been made in regards to record keeping discrepancies that had occurred years ago? Quite apparently, such reporting must sound really boring to William Gjebre. He's rather only report on the past as if we're still living it now.

Hallandale Beach is fortunate to have a CRA and to have the funds and the reserves to create efforts and fostering new business, new jobs and a continually improving quality of life. The parameters of its loan programs had been designed for what the commission had assumed was in the best interests of the city and its residents. Those parameters are not permanent, however. The city is now implementing, for example, a resident advisory board to address CRA grants.

At the end of the "investigation," the IG will only report that the city made the efforts necessary to reform policies and correct past mistakes. The city has moved on. Commissioner London and William Gjebre have not, however. It's very tiring. Any readers, however, are being duped if they believe what is insinuated in Mr. Gjebre's writings about Hallandale Beach's CRA programs. Hallandale Beach is not trapped in it's recent past. The city, its personnel and its commission have all moved on towards further progress. BrowardBulldog apparently finds that too boring to report on, however.

Armor Correctional Health Care hires nurses
that have just graduated nursing school. Armor
lets more experienced nurses go. These new
nurses do not know what their medications are
or the side effects. These nurses are just robots
giving out medications. Also the deputies need
to have the identification cards with them when
they are with the nurse giving medications to make
sure the right patient is the one getting the medication.
A lot of the deputies just want to get the medication
rounds over with so they can go on their 2 hour breaks.

the fact that he deemed Bernice Novack's death a slip and fall is preposterous. She was bludgeoned to death with a crowbar as it is now confirmed by the trial. A slip and fall would never have produced the kinds of injuries that lady endured! Beyond incompetent something else seems to be going on here. The man examined corpses for 17 years and Ms. Novack's body comes to him in a state of such severe injury that others who saw all the photographs taken of her body said that no one would have mistaken this for anything other than a murder /attack in her home where she was found. Thankfully he was not appointed again. 3 monthd later Ms. Novacks son was murdered. Perper is living scum.

Those who don't remember the past are condemned to repeat it.
How many times are the residents of Hallandale going to take a punch in the
Stomach before they've had enough??? It's up to us to make to make it happen.
Get out and vote and make a difference. Cooper must go....

I 'pitched' the rebranding efforts almost 5 years ago and lost out to Bieber Silverstein. Perhaps a follow-up with their creative team could help. Also our approach on the name change was much simpler. Anway-Thanks BB. love ya
